QLK Educational/ Training Scholarships - -
See your instructor or contact Inner Circle PRODUCTIONS for details!
There are multiple levels of ASSOCIATE or STUDENT instructors of QLK that may ASSIST teaching classes in some schools because we believe that helping to teach improves the students learning.
However STUDENT or ASSOCIATE instructors and those NOT CERTIFIED to teach QLK will never be allowed to teach any class alone by themselves.
There MUST have a certified instructor present during every class to teach QLK at all times!. [No exceptions!]
To become a certified QLK instructor REQUIRES both at least first degree in QLK AND a full years Supervised instruction PLUS
review and acceptance of your teaching abilities by the Board of governors to ensure that students are qualified to teach.
Simply putting in the time will NOT get you certified.
There is no monetary cost for the certification so you can not pay a fee to get certification.
Also simply having a Black Belt (at any level) will NOT get you an instructor certificate. You must have the full year of supervised
teaching in QLK to be granted and instructor certificate - the reason for this is to both to help students learn how to teach and to be certain that instructors can teach
to the level of quality required for QLK. – This not simply about being able to do katas …
but instead the understanding of WHY’s that are required ... and also how to adapt things for students that can not (for any reason) do things the standard way.
AND of course we are dealing with many kids - SO we will always look out for our membes - at every age!
